Green Design
In one of the most dynamic categories, we source ADO’s Bioprotect
fabric line which fabrics are actually able to remove pollutants from
the air. We have many other resources for organic fabrics, and other
environmentally sensitive products, and are watching our fabric and
hardware partners respond to increased customer demand in this category.
It is exciting to see what’s now available for our clients with an
interest in green design.
Fire Retardant Fabrics
We caution our clients and trade projects from specifying
saline treated fabrics for fire retardant requirements. These fabrics
usually stiffen, and discolor over time. They cause drapery pins to
rust, and hardware to be affected. We source inherently flame retardant
fabrics, and fabrics that use other finishing means to meet fire codes.
