For a bedroom overlooking a wooded view, this Combination custom Window Treatment was designed to give you the sense of looking out at the trees, out from under a tree.  To achieved the shaped valance, a micro-welt in the same brown as the embroidered vines meticulously outlined the valance hem.

At the hem, same vining fabric was similarly outlined in brown microwelting, to create the sense of vines climbing up at the base of a tree.  A  trouser-break hem on the floor prevents the draperies from blowing if windows were opened.  The deep proportion of the embroidery at the hem balances the very wide width of the window, providing substantial visual support to the window treatment.
