Adding warmth and distinction, as well as light control throughout this Vienna, VA home, was the goal. New custom window treatments included an award-winning design for the Great Room, inspired by the colors of the painting above the fireplace.  Awarded first place in Specialty Window Treatments at the International Window Coverings Expo in 2020, the Great Room included automated shades, and a design which preserved the arched shape of the central window and accented the dramatic height of the room.  The Dining room draperies were pleated to pattern, and a contrast gusset inset in the side panels, over cafe shutters.  A wide range of other custom window treatments were designed for each space.  The project also included new paint colors, a new area rug for the circular entry area, a new countertop for the wine bar, and a new lamp in her office.
